ABOUT THIS EVENT

MAITBC Miss Asia USA Contest is event helping woman and teens develop life skills, find new interests and discover new opportunities. Receive recognition for woman efforts in bettering their self and Asian America community. Also, at this event we will provide an opportunity for win scholarships, develop poise, confidence, stage presence entrance interview skill and speaking ability. Finally, our expectation that this competition will greatly influence the cultural lives of American international females, and more people know about our beautiful Kansas and Missouri state.

All final participants will receive gifts, certificates and the title winner will also receive a crown, cash prize (15% of event income will be given out as cash prizes)

Contest Process 

Miss Asia Casting Call : January 26, 2019

 Time: 3:00 PM —5:30 PM
Address: Johnson County Community College   
INSTRUCTIONS:

Take part in our casting call for the Miss Asia pageant. Semifinals will be held on April 26 and Finals will be held on September 28.

We will be casting for Miss Teen Asia, Miss Asia, and Mrs. Asia. Also crowned will be Miss Asia Social Media and Asia Top Model.

Selections will be based on the following:

  1. Interview 

  2. Appearance

  3. Runway Walk

  4. Stage Presence

Some training will be provided at a minimal cost to those who have been selected to move forward with the Semifinals.

We’re excited to provide an opportunity to improve your presence and confidence on many levels. The skills learned are applicable in college, business, as well as professional modeling, and performance.

Semifinals Time: April 20, 2019

Instructions: Judges will choose 38 Participants to enter into the second contest

Instructions: Judges will choose 24 Participants to enter into final Contest

Final Judge Overall Score Standard:

Miss Asia Pageant Final will be judged with 5 Phases of the competition with each phase contributing a certain percent to the overall score

4. Evening Wear        20%    

5. Lifestyle Wear               15%

Steps To Apply

Qualifications  

By Age:

Miss Teen Asia USA (13—17 yrs)

Miss Asia    (18—35 yrs)

Mrs Asia     (20—80 yrs)  

  • Be Legal Status of US Resident

  • Be in Reasonably Good Health
  • Be Female ( Applicant must be an ancestry from an Asian Continent or least 5% Asian ancestry in any continent, or from one of Asia countries) 

  • All Miss Asia should bring proof of age documents, such as driver license, or passports.

  • All Miss Asia contestant should be single and never married

Administration Requirements:

  • Section I: Photo Requirements:  Photo files should be at least 2 MB in size.

  • Section II: Video Requirements:

  •    Video length should be no more than 5 minutes long and in PAL format; resolution should be 720×576 or 1920×1080. Play format shall be AVI, MP4, MOV, WMV. When upload, please compress to WMV format. If a DVD disc is to be submitted, the play format should be MP4 file (h.264 code). Please keep your original files.

MAITBC MISS ASIA USA CONTEST 2019 TOPIC “GLOBAL CHILDREN CANCER PREVENTION

Every year there are a total of 250,000 children in the world who are diagnosed with cancer and about 90,000 children who die of cancer. Leukemia is number one among the cancers with the highest occurrence. The report compiled by the international cancer research institute (IARC) shows that the occurrence rate of children’s cancer has increased by 13% from 2001 to 2010 compared to the 80s of the twentieth century, resulting in 140 occurrences per one million children in the world per year for ages of 0 to 14. Cancer has become the number one killer for children. Genetics, immunization system deficiency, virus infection, environmental, and imbalance of nutrition are the main causes of children’s cancer. How to provide the resources for children to receive medical care, and how to improve the environment and nutrition for the children are the main subjects to be discussed during the Miss Asia USA contest and helping rising money for  Children Cancer
